The switch and the button are very similar to each other, even in their application. The main difference is that the button, once released, returns to its initial position.
The pushbutton switch can have two positions, NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) depending on the intended use. If the button button is normally open, it means that by pressing we circulate the current, if, on the other hand, it is normally closed, by pressing the button we interrupt the current.
The button is mainly used for the bell (ringtone), for opening gates, doors, or for switching on a lamp from several points via a relay.
